Thùy Linh has been singing jazz since 1990.
Self-taught, and drawn to Jazz by the classic voices of Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, and Louis Armstrong, her low-pitched voice glides warmly between sensuality and disillusion of times past. She's currently composing jazz tunes using erotic poetry by a renown 18th century Vietnamese poetess Ho Xuân Huong.
