Vesak Celebration is a chance to learn and reflect on Buddha’s wisdom and compassion, to find peace within oneself, and practice understanding towards others. It is a chance for our community to share and to heal all the differences that had caused us to drift apart, ” said Ven. Thich Phap Chon, Abbot of Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center. “The fun activities help to bring families together, create the opportunities for parents and grandparents to spend quality time with their children, and educate their children about their cultural roots,” added Ivy Vuong, Vice Chair of ICAN.
